Welcome to FinKI

What is FinKI?

FinKI is an emerging fintech application to quickly find some of the most interesting products on financial markets *. Although professionals may also take advantage of the application, it is primarily aimed at part time users to quickly identify and explore financial products from a birds eye view. To achieve these goals FinKI uses artificial intelligence components. The focus is on ease of use.

This user interface of FinKI is designed for medium to large desktop displays. It is planned to offer a smartphone version in the future.

Disclaimer

FinKI is neither a financial recommender nor does it provide financial advice. It is entirely up to the user to interpret the offered numbers according to their own knowledge and preferences.

Scope

FinKI presents a large selection of stocks in an extremely compact and concise way in a single table with various means to search, filter, sort and to link to other interesting sources providing in depth information. Each stock with its attributes is represented by one line in the table. You simply click on one of the attributes of the stock of interest and you will be forwarded to an affiliated site with in depth information about the stock.

FinKI-Runner

As with other AI-systems there is a background process running 7 x 24 to gather and analyze all the information that is finally presented via this user interface. The FinKI-Runner is the backbone of FinKI and is responsible for analyzing, scoring and categorizing the data. Thus, FinKI is a retrieval augmented system. Currently, the FinKI-Runner component analyzes more than 70.000 stocks world wide including the important North American stocks from NASDAQ 100, NYSE and the DowJones Index as well as most European, Chinese, and Japanese stocks.

Linked Items

Linked items are as usual colored in blue. If you click on a linked item, you are forwarded to an external source of knowledge giving you comprehensive information about the selected security.

Combining and Filtering

Filtering can be achieved by entering search patterns in the row of fields above the FinKI table. These search patterns will then be applied to the database with all data available to FinKI. Press the "FILTER"-button to execute the search. The set of search patterns defines a new working environment within which you can order and sort and find your favorites with the desired set of properties.

Ordering and Sorting

The ordering of each column of a FinKI table can be reversed by clicking the column header. The default ordering is by date and the 'FinKI-Category' column. Together with the previously defined filter criteria you can now see the most interesting securities in the top lines of the table.

Paging

If your table contains more rows than would fit on one page, FinKI displays a row of page numbers below the table to allow you to navigate to the desired page.

* You are currently viewing version 1.0.0, the very first publicly available release. It is limited to stocks. Future versions of FinKI will include other financial products such as ETFs and cryptocurrencies.
