The name FinKI alludes to its original German meaning 'Finanzen mit Künstlicher Intelligenz'. Unlike names such as 'Mike', FinKI is pronounced akin to words like 'pinky' or 'tinky', resulting in a pronunciation comparable to 'finky'.

In German, the term Fink translates to 'finch' in English. When in search of a truly beautiful finch, we were captivated by the Australian Diamond Firetail, scientifically known as Stagonopleura guttata, noted for the distinctive diamond pattern on its wings. Consequently, it is this exquisite bird that has come to inspire our logo.
